Originally started as a small stable with barely 4 stalls and 4 horses to their name, Cherrystone Estates has become a household name in the Eventing community since it was originally established back in 1985. Their Thoroughbreds as well-renowned in the highest levels of 3 Day Eventing, and the bloodlines of those horses are highly sought-after in the community to bolster other bloodlines. While they breed and maintain their own bloodline of Eventing Throughbreds, Cherrystone is known for taking in Throughbred horses from rescues as well as Off-The-Track Thoroughbreds to rehabilitate and train in a secondary career.
Since their founding in 1985, Cherrystone has continued to grow and prosper in the Eventing Community. Having only just started with 4 stalls, they now proudly boast a total of 56 total stalls set aside specifically for their own horses, not counting the guest stalls and show stalls. There is a lovely large cross country course, with obstacles fitting to every level of training. Cherrystone also boasts two indoor arenas and three outdoor arenas, which can be changed around for Show-Jumping, Dressage and Flatwork.

New Mare and Baby!A short while back, we received a Thoroughbred colt from Madison. And our beautiful mare CE Smart Chic, or Oakley as we call her, took right to him! She fell in love with the colt from across the barn aisle, and she was insistent on getting to the colt. So we decided to turn them out together - under supervision of course. However, there was no reason to worry. While Oakley might've never had a foal yet (she's only 4 years old - unproven aside from her bloodline) she was a natural mama to Teddy. We figure we'll leave the pair together until Teddy becomes a yearling, it might help him settle into his new home. Now, onto the official presentation of Oakley! Meet CE Smart Chic - Oakley! 4 Year Old 16.2hh Thoroughbred Mare Buckskin with Birdcatcher Spots We will officially introduce Teddy in a post later on, so stay tuned for that!

Oakley is such a cute name for a mare, I love it. And Teddy!! Glad to see he's adjusting well. I hope to see more of him, and her! Excited to see more of Cherrystone.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! Oakley adores her little adopted son, and is onstantly fussing over him. We've been avoiding taking too many pictures of Oakley right now while she and Teddy bond and get used to each other. We don't want to stress the pair out too much before we start moving Oakley around to enter shows. However, we do have a new friend here in the barn that we can introduce to you guys! Proudly Introducing.... CE Turn the Lights Down, or Nugget!CE Turn the Lights Down - Nugget 5YO 17.1hh Thoroughbred Stallion Black with a Blaze, Front Left Cornet Band and High Back Right Sock

Nugget is our baby, and he loves to be silly~ Personality he has in plenty! Never a dull moment around the barn with him here for sure.
I know we've been introducing a lot of horses lately, but we just want to give each horse their turn in the spotlight~ Speaking of horses... we've got another horse to introduce to you! Meet CE Into the Unknown - Mystery! 3YO 16.1hh Thoroughbred Mare Greying Silver Dapple Black Overo She will be competing in Eventing with our other Thoroughbreds, but we may have a bit more trouble with her. She's got quite a bit of energy and spunk, and prefers to do things her own way. Mystery has a ton of personality, and we feel as if we're only just cracking the surface the older she gets. She's our most striking Thoroughbred (she hardly ever sits still unless she's sleeping!), and we can't wait to see what she does as she starts to compete full-time. Mystery is also sporting my newest marking~ It's my favorite marking I've made so far

She's so pretty! I have the theory that painted horses are craziest than solids...
