Shows, Clinics, Events, and Challenges can be hosted by members and members are encouraged to create their own!
Member Shows & Events:
Events should run no longer than 6 weeks and no less than 2 weeks! Prizes are encouraged, but not required. Events can be formatted however the host pleases, member shows are pretty free reign on here. (No Pun Intended.)
Thread names should be formatted as such: Event Name [ Discipline | Open/Close | End Date ]
If it is not a show or clinic, rather a challenge with no set discipline put "MISC" in the discipline space.
Official events are hosted by admin or staff and should last from 3-6 weeks. Official Events winner will be featured in a "Leader-boards" thread. Posts will include links to their website and scrapbook, as well as a custom drawing done of the winning horses. Other prizes will be offered, varying from show to show.
Official Events are managed differently than Member Events. Member Events may be run however the host feel, however Official Events are a randomised-story based event. The goal of Official Events is for members to exhibit a story, whether it be with written story or a series of pictures. They will be given a random prompt along with entry that they have to try and work with. Official Events are not judged on merely photo quality, they are judged on creativity and how well they convey a story.
